14.2.5.4 - cam_firmware_upgrade_progress() msg shall be sent in every 20 sec from the CICAM to Host. But then why it is required one to wait for 60 sec for on failure of reciving the message to trigger the CAM reset.

does it mean that, on 55th or 59th second if i do recive a cam_firmware_upgrade_progress() APDU, then also i should continue with CAM upgarde.

The rules are that the CAM should send an update every 20 seconds to inform the host of the progress and that it is still functioning. If the Host doesn’t receive anything within the 60 seconds it may decide to reset the CAM after the 60 seconds but is shall not reset the CAM within the 60 seconds.
