CI Plus launches Ultra HD Enhanced Content Protection

CI Plus LLP, the trust authority behind CI Plus, has launched a new Enhanced Content Protection (ECP) Security Level.

Its designed to protect the next generation of premium content and Ultra TV.

The new CI Plus ECP Security Level is based upon the recent DVB v1.4 specification and follows the rigorous content protection requirements set out by MovieLabs.

CI Plus LLP is now actively engaged with content providers and other stakeholders to enable the use of CI Plus ECP for the distribution of premium content including UHD.
